BALTIMORE – Lacrosse program administrators can now run their leagues without the frustration of paperwork, "phone trees," building schedules manually and charging extra registration fees. US Lacrosse has unveiled a new benefit for its members: USLaxTeams.com. USLaxTeams.com is an exclusive lacrosse league management system developed by US Lacrosse in conjunction with LeagueAthletics.com that gives program administrators and coaches a suite of online tools to better manage and communicate with their organization and teams.
"We are excited to offer this exclusive new on-line registration system, that not only is proven safe and secure, but will also provide seamless integration to the US Lacrosse database to confirm memberships," said Sara Noon, US Lacrosse’s director of membership. "It also has powerful program management tools all without a per-player fee. USLaxTeams.com is the one-stop-shop that players and parents can go to get information about their lacrosse program, about US Lacrosse and about the sport."
USLaxTeams.com includes:
• quick, easy online registration • real-time US Lacrosse membership registration • individual team pages • automatic game and practice scheduling • facilities scheduling • easy and secure roster import and export • email and text messaging tools • officials assignment tools • online photo sharing • player, coach and administrator discussion forums • lacrosse news headline feeds • personalized team store and shopping cart • sponsorship/advertising revenue features • automatic game results with capability to send to newspapers • administrator toolbox with lacrosse specific information • no per-player fees • no multi-year contracts
"The standard functionality provided by USLaxTeams.com addresses just about everything I've been wanting to do the past two years," said Mike Leary, program administrator for the Brevard Lacrosse Association. "It's awesome and I expect it will get me out from the mound of paperwork that was accumulating under our old process. I was able to export all of our member data from US Lacrosse and import into our web database in about 10 minutes. Now I can spend more time coaching and less time with administration."
USLaxTeams.com can be updated anytime, from anywhere there is Internet access by anyone with access rights (administrators, coaches, etc.). Updates are communicated to parents and players in real time. No HTML or web programming knowledge is required. Anyone who has ever filled in a form online has all the skills necessary to run USLaxTeams.com. No "webmaster" is needed.
"The LeagueAthletics.com team is delighted to announce an exclusive league management system we’ve developed with US Lacrosse," said Don Malin, CEO of LeagueAthletics.com. "The goal of this system is to provide US Lacrosse members and program administrators with the most complete league management and registration system which will facilitate communication and allow members to run an efficient and successful lacrosse program.
